Executive Summary
The META Corporation, Wilmington, Delaware (U.S.A.) was founded for several reasons. One of our goals is to make sole agency contracts about selected toys etc. and to commercialize these articles exclusively in Canada and the U.S.A. alone or with cooperation partners.
The Company
At
present the META Corporation has already finalized a cooperation
contract with one of the oldest toymaker company of Germany. By
this contract the META Corporation is the only supplier of two
brands in Canada (Schildkroet and Educa).
Both brands are
worldwide wellknown and in business since 1896 (!). More brands
from Germany and Europe will be added within the next time.
The Service
The
fast delivery is part of the service of the META Corporation which
is managed by import of the toys from the manufacturer directly
and delivery by reliable parcel services directly into the houses
of the customers.
Beyond this in the near future META
Corporation offers a repair service for dolls of the brand
"Schildkroet". Especially trained and qualified
restorers repair old and new dolls. This service is starting in
the year 2004. If a repair shouldn't be possible by the META
Corporation, the doll can be directly "flown out" into
the doll clinic of the manufacturer.
Marketing strategy
The
META Corporation offers her products through the internet, own
clubs, collecting customers, and through exclusive storekeepers.
Through the order via internet and the payment by credit card the
orders can be executed quickly and to the satisfaction of the
customers.
Additional advertisement by newspaper articles
as well as promotion by radio and television are planned.
Furthermore it is planned to include children's books and other
exclusive toys into the assortment.
Management
The
META Corporation is managed by Jutta M.D. Siebers (President) and
Alfred B.J. Siebers. Both are married for over 30 years and have
decades of experience in the toys area. Additionally they are both
successful and known book authors in the German-speaking
Europe.
