Doll Stories
She found it !
At META Corporation I’m responsible for Customer Support. From time to time exciting things are happening. It was at the end of Oktober last year. We received an email from Christa Schmidt in Florida.
She was looking after a doll for her mother. Searching at the Internet she found that doll at ( www.meta-corp.com ) and wrote to the customer support about the doll she was looking for:
"This gift is for my mother for Christmas. She had the exact doll, she explained when she was a child and have it away to a charity in Germany (she is German and grew up there).”
"At any rate, I could see by the look in her eye, how much she loved this doll and would like to give it back to her. So, I am a little nervous about having this doll become available to me."
The customer support explained that he send the doll as soon as possible and the name of that doll was "Baerbel".
Christa Schmidt was excited and wrote:
"To make the plot thicken, the name of my mothers doll that she had as a child was "Baerbel". I am in shock! I saw some of the Schildkroet Puppen with different hair styles and some with open mouth."
"The way my mother described the doll to me, fit the description of the one that I want. Now, I know that that is the exact model of the doll that my mother gave away to that Charity."
What do you think? You are right: We delivered the doll before Christmas and her mother was very happy to have her beloved doll back!
That's tradition at META Corporation and with our "Schildkroet" dolls: everything changes in the world but the good things ever stay the same.
